ORA SINGERS Drawing a link to the modern age, this programme ends with Sir James MacMillan’s spellbinding setting of the same text used by Allegri in c.1630. Between these two musical pillars are works by European masters of the Renaissance: Victoria, Lassus, and Palestrina, alongside contemporary ‘reflections’ by some of today’s brightest musical minds.
